IDF Buzzes Hezbollah Leader’s Funeral Amid Chants of ‘Death to Israel’

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) chanted the funeral of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrara in Beirut on Sunday, reminding him that in September the Israeli war plane killed Nasrara.

The Israeli fighter flew over Beirut during the funeral of former Lebanon Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrara and his cousin and successor Hashem Safidydeen on Sunday, February 23, 2025 , Hashem Safiedzin, Beirut.

As reported by Breitbart News at the time, Nasrallah and some of his aides who survived the “Pager” attack a few days ago were killed in a surprising bombing that took away his underground headquarters in Beirut.

Nasrara's funeral was delayed until his body was able to recover and until Hezbollah accepted the ceasefire. He was buried with his successor, Hashem Safiedin. Hashem Safien also killed Israel in later airstrikes.

“At the funeral of Hassan Nasrara, Israeli Air Force aircraft currently flying across Beirut will deliver a clear message: those who are destroying Israel and threatening to attack Israel will be at their end. It will be,” he said in a statement.

“You specialize in funerals and we win,” adds Katz.

Israel completed its withdrawal from southern Lebanon last week, coinciding with a ceasefire, but maintained five military posts built along the Lebanese border with Israel and monitored compliance with the agreement.

Israel continues to attack Hezbollah's weapons, but so far the ceasefire has been held.
