“In addition to abortion and the ACA, this seems to be one of the issues tonight that's really on the minds of Republican voters and people who aren't fans of Trump,” co-host Alex Wagner said. Pelosi said, “Well, let me tell you, no one in our country is above the law. And that's certainly true of anyone who wants to be president of the United States. And the many crimes that the president has committed. is about his integrity, but it's also about our safety. People, his base doesn't seem to care about some of those states anyway. But the fact is, they have to know what it means in their lives, that they will no longer have access to affordable care, that they will have a national ban on access to abortion. So elections are about freedom and democracy in general, of course, but they're also about personal freedom and life.”
