If Trump Loses, He Could Go to Prison — If He Wins, He Would Be the Most Powerful POTUS

ABC News' Washington correspondent John Kahl said Tuesday on ABC's “The View” that former President Donald Trump's likely outcome of the election would be from prison to becoming the most powerful U.S. president.

Carl said, “I mean, look, we're talking about the stakes for the country, which in many ways is indicative of what kind of country we live in. But consider the risks to Mr. Trump himself. On the other hand, if he loses, Jack Smith will still be there and the trial will be moved up and held in New York. There will be a sentence and a federal case. He may actually go to prison.”

He added: “If he wins, he will probably be the most powerful president in our lifetime because we have a Supreme Court that will issue immunity decisions and he has the power to do that.” From what he told me, I have had many conversations with him over the past few months. “When I first came, I didn’t know anyone,” he told me. I relied on your advice. ” In other words, he had people like Millie and Mathis and people who tried to rein him in, maybe people like Alyssa. There are no guardrails this time. ”
