An illegal alien has been charged with raping a 14-year-old girl in Jefferson County, Colorado. The news comes as Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (D) vows to protect undocumented immigrants in sanctuary cities from President-elect Donald Trump's deportation program.
Jesús Alberto Pereira Castillo, 20, is an illegal immigrant from Venezuela. arrested The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office announced the verdict on Nov. 19 for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in August of this year.
Police said Castillo lived in the basement of his employer's residence. On the night of August 29, Castillo allegedly pressed himself against his employer's 14-year-old daughter and sexually assaulted her.
This week, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials Confirmed Castillo first crossed the southern border near El Paso, Texas, in September 2023. He was soon released into the interior of the United States and resettled in a suburb of Denver.
