An illegal alien accused of trafficking fentanyl in a Massachusetts sanctuary is also wanted on murder charges in his native Dominican Republic.
The 27-year-old illegal alien crossed the U.S.-Mexico border on an unknown date as a “runaway,” a term used to describe someone who successfully crosses the border without being detected or stopped by Border Patrol agents.
Nearly 2 million people have been confirmed to have crossed the border since President Joe Biden took office.

In November 2021, the illegal alien was wanted for murder in the city of Bani, Dominican Republic. The following month, he was charged with fentanyl trafficking in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
“This undocumented Dominican fled his home country to avoid a murder trial,” said Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer Todd Lyons. Said. “He headed to Massachusetts, where he has been repeatedly arrested by local authorities and charged with assault and drug offenses.”
Also in December 2021, an illegal alien was charged with strangling and suffocating a family member in their West Roxbury, Massachusetts, home. The charges were later dismissed.
On March 21, ICE agents arrested an illegal alien in Saugus, Massachusetts. He remains in ICE custody pending deportation to the Dominican Republic.
