Authorities in Pennsylvania have identified a suspect who fled the scene of a deadly hit-and-run crash as an illegal immigrant.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed to Fox News Digital that 25-year-old Saul Rivera Ramirez was an illegal immigrant who had previously been deported.
“The Philadelphia Immigration Agency has confirmed that Saul Ramirez Rivera is an alien illegally present in the United States. Ramirez Rivera was previously removed from the United States and illegally re-entered without admissibility or parole by immigration authorities,” a USCIS spokesperson said in a statement.
“Following the arrest, ERO Philadelphia filed an immigration detention order with the Allegheny County Jail. ERO Philadelphia does not expect that immigration detention orders will be honored under ACJ's current policy,” the statement continued.

“Today I am devastated by the passing of an incredible local talent, Christian Sulka. He was an accomplished bass player but even more so, a wonderful son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend,” the post read. “He was a core member of the Gold Mountain music community and was at nearly every event. If he wasn't onstage with his band Osprey, he was in the audience with his family, always with a smile on his face and looking out for his younger brothers.
