woman staying illegally tried to hire a hitman The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that it has killed two witnesses who cooperated in the case against the son of a man convicted of a stabbing.
Josefina Cardona-Cardona, 43, was arrested by Florida law enforcement officials on charges of attempting to “solicit someone to kill two cooperating witnesses in her son’s case,” the agency said in a recent report on X. I wrote it in a post.
PBSO said the defendant “agreed to pay an undercover officer to carry out the crime.”
Cardona-Cardona’s son, Manuel Marcos Cardona, is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to stabbing a man to death in 2022, the sheriff’s office said. Marcos Cardona, who was 14 years old at the time of the murder, was charged with: adult, WPTV report. After sentencing, he will be subject to deportation.
An arrest report for the June 2022 murder revealed that a fight broke out between the adults while they were attending a child’s birthday party. The victim tried to break up the scuffle but was stabbed five times. According to WPTV, the victim was also beaten by Marcos Cardona and his parents. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the next day.
Marcos Cardona and his parents tried to flee the state, but were stopped by the sheriff’s office.

PBSO claimed Cardona Cardona offered the secret hitman $8,000 to kill a witness.
This was announced by a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office. WSVN“These are clearly very serious and egregious charges.”
“If the circumstances had been different and the incident had not been reported and an undercover police officer had been involved, two people would probably have died,” the spokesperson added.
The sheriff’s office said Cardona-Cardona has been charged with two counts of aiding and abetting murder. She is being held on $550,000 bail. Following her indictment, she will be subject to deportation.
