Illegal Palestinian Migrant Arrested for Anti-Jewish Hate Crime in New York

A self-proclaimed Palestinian immigrant has been charged with assault and robbery, a hate crime, for tearing an Israeli flag off a Long Island man’s porch and punching him in front of his neighbor.

Police said Beshir Lebeib, 26, is suspected of stealing a flag reading “In this house we stand with Israel” from the front door of Alexander Binyaminov’s home.

“When I took the flag away from him, he said, ‘I’m from Palestine, and you Jews are killing Palestinians,'” Binyaminov said. I remembered For NBC News New York.

Levabe walked away from Binyaminov and made an obscene gesture in the video. The suspect was walking a few houses away when Binyaminov caught up with him on a child’s bicycle.

In the video (watch below), Binyaminov challenges Lebabe, and Lebabe punches him in the head. The two then start fighting.



“He punched me in the face, put me in a black-and-blue chokehold, and headbutted me, which gave me a black eye,” Binyaminov said.

The flag has been raised since October 7 in honor of relatives of Binyaminov’s wife, who was killed when Hamas terrorists attacked Israel.

“The subject continued to violently shake his body, continued to struggle with the victim, and threw the victim to the ground,” Nassau County Police Deputy Chief Kevin Smith said.

“This madness has to stop,” Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman said of the incident.

County executives and Republican elected officials blasted border policy in response to the incident at a news conference.

“Living in America, I never thought something like this would happen to me. As Jews, we live happily here. It’s a little disgusting that something like this happened to us.” I feel like these hate crimes need to stop,” Binyaminov said.

Leveig was ordered held on $50,000 bail, and the judge agreed with prosecutors to seize his passport.

of new york post report Lebaib entered the United States from Mexico in November. Officials said they were unsure of his country of origin but believed he immigrated from somewhere in North Africa.
