“Most trendy restaurants accept reservations 28 to 30 days in advance,” restaurant representatives wrote. “There are some exceptions, such as Don Angie on the 7th and Cipriani on the 14th, but it’s fine to request a month in advance.”

“I responded as usual: ‘We would be happy to contact you, but reservations are fully booked 30 days in advance,'” they added. I go there all the time, they know me. Besides, you’re _______’s concierge, so you can’t let me in? ! ? ”

When the concierge called the restaurant to ask about the patron, it turned out they knew who he was, but not for the reason he had suggested.

“He wasn’t lying when he said they knew him, because he was ‘forceful, rude, always drunk, and treated staff badly.’ Because we are banned from entering,” they recalled.
