‘I’m going to f***ing kill you’: Surveillance catches women brutally beating grocery store clerk in brazen attack

Surveillance video captured the moment an unsuspecting grocery store clerk was brutally attacked in the Bronx on Sunday.

Lisbel Rodriguez Luna was working as a cashier at the Food Universe Marketplace on a Sunday afternoon. That’s when at least four of her women came down to her cashier’s booth and started beating her, hitting her head repeatedly and pulling her hair.

Attempts by nearby employees and customers to intervene failed. After doing a beatdown, the women ran away. Luckily, Luna was not seriously injured.

Luna told the New York Post She didn’t know one of the attackers personally, but from an incident that happened a few days before the attack. Luna said she had a run-in with the woman after she stopped barging in line to exchange recyclables for cash a week ago. The woman threatened Luna and complied.

“She said, ‘Bitch, that’s not your job. I wish I had my money,'” Luna recalls. “I’m going to kick your ass. I’m going to kill you. I’m going to bring my daughter and we’re all going to kick your ass!”

Luna said the incident left her “horrified.” And the woman seems to have delivered on that promise.

Store manager Jose Minaya said the woman returned to the store on Sunday with her three daughters and another elderly woman. Minaya tried to defuse the situation by moving her Luna to another part of the store, but the women “came in and attacked them immediately,” she said.

Police have not arrested the attackers, but are looking for the two women from WNYW-TV. report.

Store owner Pedro Goico told WNYW that he wants New York legislators to pass a new law that would toughen penalties for assaulting grocery store employees.

Agree on joint action to protect the store. The group says assaults on retail workers are a growing problem in the New York City area and they want lawmakers to take action.

“Beyond rising statistics on retail theft, it’s the many immigrants who are being attacked when stores are robbed. Needs to be strengthened to allow customers to shop.Safe” group Said in a statement.
