New Insights from Doorbell Footage in Nancy Guthrie Case

Recent doorbell footage of Nancy Guthrie’s suspected kidnapper has revealed critical details about the individual, highlighting specific physical and behavioral characteristics that may assist law enforcement in their investigation, as per body language specialists.

Authorities unveiled previously unreleased images from a Google Nest security camera on Tuesday, ten days after Guthrie was kidnapped for ransom. The footage depicts a man, clad in a ski mask and brandishing a firearm, outside his grandmother’s house in Tucson.

“Even though he’s wearing a mask, you can still see his eyes, his physique, and the distinct way he moves,” explained Susan Constantine to Fox News. “All of these features could help identify him.”

Upon evaluating the new footage, Constantine noted that the man’s jawline suggests he might have a beard underneath the mask. She also mentioned that the shape of his head and the absence of visible hair could indicate he’s bald.

Experts observed that the suspect was equipped with a presumably full backpack, hinting at his preparedness for the kidnapping.

Additionally, he was seen holding a flashlight in his mouth, adjusting the camera, and even appearing to pluck a nearby flower to place in front of the lens.

“There are no signs of anxiety,” Constantine stated.

She described the suspect, based on black-and-white footage from the morning of Guthrie’s disappearance, as a fit individual with brown eyes and olive-toned skin.

Importantly, she emphasized that the incident does not resemble a typical robbery gone wrong, which generally involves multiple perpetrators. Currently, police have only released the image of the man captured on the doorbell camera.

“Someone is bound to recognize something,” Constantine asserted, noting that items like clothing and backpacks could provide significant clues.

FBI Director Kash Patel shared on Tuesday that the grandmother lost access to her security camera footage, but the images were eventually retrieved through residual data, as there was no backup system in place.

“In the last week, the FBI, along with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, has collaborated with private sector partners to recover any images and video footage that may have been lost or destroyed from Nancy Guthrie’s residence,” Patel stated.

On a different note, Arizona police detained a delivery driver on Tuesday but subsequently released him without charges a few hours later.
