In 2026, Democrats Encounter Their Perfect Match

__________

Greetings to you,

It’s Monday morning, around 8 am, and we’re already moving at full speed.

Welcome to State of the Day, where I cut through the euphemisms and the politicking to give you the unfiltered truth about national politics.

Let’s dive in.

IN 2026, DEMS MEET THE LOVE OF THEIR LIFE

The beleaguered Democratic Party seems to have undergone more identity changes over the past decade than a person struggling with self-identity, and right now, we’re witnessing perhaps the most outrageous transformation yet.

One can almost grasp how we found ourselves in this situation.

From the heights of Obama, a two-term, charismatic leader with undeniable appeal, to Hillary’s explosive defeat, followed by Biden’s shaky composure and now Kamala Harris stumbling, the failures have stacked up one after another, each more surprising and perplexing than the last. It’s no wonder the party appears to be spiraling.

Looking at their electoral strategies over the past ten years, it’s clear they’ve shifted dramatically. They first aimed at capturing illegal immigrants and, by extension, “Latinx” voters. That approach fell flat. Gender discussions and, well, some deeply unsettling events left them grasping for new direction. Their focus turned to Black Race Essentialism, spurred on by figures like Ibram X. Kendi, whose real name is Hank, guiding them to a dead-end. That led to chaos—cities saw unrest, crime rates surged. Then, in a rather misguided pivot, they leaned into issues surrounding transgender rights. That backfired, and a particularly cringeworthy moment came when Kamala Harris advocated for taxpayer-funded gender transitions for imprisoned, undocumented immigrants. Ouch.

They abandoned the white working class under Hillary. It felt routine, perhaps even boring. The party hopped from one group to another—first to antifa supporters, then to Hispanic communities and Black activists, before ultimately embracing transgender advocacy, ending up battered and bruised in the process. So, it’s somewhat predictable that New York Governor Kathy Hochul is now visiting a Bronx Islamic Center cloaked in a hijab, just days ahead of the 25th Anniversary of 9/11.

If there’s an enduring, dysfunctional relationship with the American voter, it appears that embracing Islamism is the final hurdle. Actually, it might be more aptly described as Islamomarxism.

What happens when you merge two of the most detrimental ideologies in history? It seems we’re nearing that point, just shy of 25 years since that particular ideology made its devastating mark on September 11.

I met someone new.

Really? What’s he like?

He’s tall, dark, and very devout.

Interesting, what does he do?

He’s passionate about extreme measures against those who oppose him, maintaining traditional practices, and strongly backed social support systems!

He sounds almost perfect!

Perhaps the Democrats will learn from this, though I’m not holding my breath. A fully Muslim city council in Michigan—which had initial liberal support—quickly made a point of eliminating gay pride symbols.

It’s humorous on some level, but when they begin establishing ethnoreligious governance, the laughter might fade.

It’s increasingly clear why liberals are drawn to this alliance, especially as they try to move past the frenzied focus on transgender issues. There’s a particularly dark synergy between those who advocate for violent retribution and those who push for radical change. It’s a troubling connection when you really think about it.

The rise of Islamocommunism on the left might signal the party’s ultimate undoing. There’s not much left to explore after this. It represents a final frontier of sorts with no other racial or religious combinations to embrace.

Moreover, it’s not a sustainable approach. Pouring resources into dubious Muslim daycare programs simply because they align with your voting base is a glaring misstep. People are frustrated, and that anger isn’t going away. Most Americans, for instance, don’t relish the thought of hearing the call to prayer echoing through their suburban neighborhoods. It’s just not something they want. They don’t want to stroll through Costco and see that hijab-wearing individuals are the majority.

There’s a certain misguided admiration for the Islamic left, especially among liberals who feel beaten down. It’s only human to seek out strength when you’re feeling vulnerable.

But, like past entanglements, I doubt this will end well.
