New York City Assistant Principal Arrested for Prostitution Charges
An assistant principal at a New York City elementary school has been implicated in an alleged prostitution scheme operating internationally.
Reports indicate that Bond Ng, aged 47, was taken into custody on Sunday, facing charges related to enticing someone to engage in prostitution during an interstate trip.
Following his arrest, Ng was released after posting a $150,000 bail. As a condition of his release, he is required to avoid the schools where he works, wear a GPS monitor, and remain within New York City.
Ng serves as the assistant principal at PS 16 in Corona, Queens. His reported annual salary stands at approximately $173,029, according to public payroll records.
In his role, he oversees various responsibilities including school safety, technology, and transportation.
On arriving back at John F. Kennedy International Airport from Cartagena, Colombia, last Friday, Ng was cautioned to undergo another test.
Authorities from Homeland Security discovered two of his mobile phones containing what have been described as “disturbing text messages” exchanged between Ng, a porn star, and her clients.
Sources cite Ng as telling investigators he acted as the “manager” for an adult film performer. Reportedly, he facilitated meetings between her and clients in New York, even utilizing his luxury apartment for these encounters.
The complaint in Brooklyn’s federal court states Ng posed as an adult entertainer when reaching out to prospective customers.
One text quoted him offering a potential client a rate of $2,000 per hour for rendezvous with the porn star, plus extra charges for specific sexual acts.
Prosecutors allege Ng directed the porn actress to travel from Los Angeles to New York in December 2025 for a client meeting, despite her hesitance due to the winter chill. Ng assured her the client was eager to meet for an extended duration and had already paid $10,000 for the encounter.
Texts revealed by prosecutors contained lists of clients and arrangements for meetings, summing to over $20,000 for the illicit activities.
According to details in the complaint, the actress did travel to New York on December 28, leaving two days later, and sent Ng a thank-you message for using his apartment.
Reports reveal Ng’s communications with certain clients span back to 2021.
Legal officials are exploring whether Ng was part of a larger human trafficking network due to his frequent trips to Colombia, raising concerns about potential coercion.
An attorney for Ng stated that the charges against him are unprecedented in his years of practice.
Addressing the situation, New York State Senator Jessica Ramos expressed her distress regarding the serious allegations against the assistant principal.
One parent of a student at PS 16 remarked on their concerns for safety, asserting that Ng should never be allowed near children again.
As part of school protocol, a letter has been distributed to parents announcing Ng’s reassignment and barring him from school grounds amid ongoing investigations.
The New York City Department of Education has declined to comment, redirecting inquiries to federal authorities.
