India Connects with US, UK, Russia, and Saudi Arabia After ‘Operation Sindoor’

Military Strikes on Terrorist Targets in Pakistan

New Delhi: India made diplomatic outreach to several key nations, including the US, Russia, the UK, and Saudi Arabia, early Wednesday to discuss its recent military strikes on nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, sources indicate.

The strikes were conducted as a response to the terrorist attack in Pahargam.

Indian officials reportedly communicated with various international counterparts to clarify the nation’s measures, including discussions with the US, the UK, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Russia.

This military action followed the Pahargam attacks that provoked significant outrage both domestically and internationally.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Defense, “These actions were taken in light of the brutal Pahargam terrorist incident that resulted in the deaths of 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen.” It underscored India’s commitment to ensuring accountability for those responsible for the attack.
