India illegal immigrant arrested by ICE

First on FOX: An Indian citizen, one of the country’s most nominated fugitives for alleged connections to terrorist activities, including planning more than 12 hand-drawn bullet attacks on police officers, was illegally arrested by immigration officials.

Harpreet Singh was detained last week by a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent, Fox News learned.

Singh illegally entered the United States on January 27, 2022 in Arizona. He was arrested by US Border Patrol agents from the Tucson sector, underwent removal procedures and was later released into the country.

He was arrested by ICE in Sacramento, California on April 16th, and will maintain ICE custody as immigration lawsuits are pending.

“The Biden administration not only brought the desired terrorists into our country, but released him inside our country after being arrested by Border Patrol agents,” said Tricia McLaughlin, deputy secretary for homeland security.

“It’s shocking, but it’s not surprising given the Biden administration’s release of terrorists and criminals that were routinely ignored into the American community,” she added. “Under the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Noem, Ice will be released to remove these violent criminals from the streets of America and end their catch and release. We will hunt down, arrest and lock up foreign terrorists and criminals who are operating in conflict with American soil.”

Singh is wanted in India over links with Babarkalsa International (BKI), a foreign terrorist organization founded in the 1970s. The group is involved in political assassinations, armed attacks and terrorist bombings to promote terrorist targets, authorities said.

Singh is said to have tried to kill and plant law enforcement officials the terrorist funding, recruitment and planning of the ren bullet attacks on Indian police stations and the homes of retired Punjabi police officers.

He is also sought by the Indian government for multiple violent tor and threatening operations in India.

According to India’s Intelligence Bureau, he is one of the most wanted men from Indian institutions. Indian officials believe Singh is a senior transnational terrorist network operative who has directly linked to Harwinder Singh Linda, the infamous figure of Pakistan-based Babar Kalsa International (BKI).
