New Delhi:
Recently, the Indian government disclosed that the Indian Air Force effectively disrupted China’s air defense systems established by Pakistan along its borders. In a significant achievement, the Indian forces completed their mission in just 23 minutes, showcasing India’s defense capabilities against threats linked to terrorism.
The official statement provided insights into Operation Sindoor, which was a direct response to recent terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahargam that tragically claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists.
“Asset Safety in India”
This announcement comes amid widespread misinformation from Pakistan, emphasizing that India executed the mission without compromising any military assets and highlighted the efficiency of its planning and operational systems.
“Our strikes targeted critical Pakistani air spaces like Noor Khan and Rahimiyal Khan with surgical precision, aimed at eliminating high-value enemy assets, including radar and missile systems,” the statement noted.
Moreover, various types of resilient munitions, commonly referred to as “suicide drones,” were deployed. These drones hover over specific targets before initiating attacks.
“Dispersing China-made air defense systems”
The Indian officials explained how their drones and missiles successfully operated while the Pakistani air defenses failed to detect their movements. They underscored that the Indian Air Force managed to circumvent and jam these defenses, completing its operations within 23 minutes—a testament to India’s technical superiority.
According to the government, the fully indigenous air defense systems employed by the Indian military performed remarkably well. “Operation Sindoor provided firm evidence of our capability to neutralize hostile technology laid out by foreign nations,” they detailed, referencing the destruction of various advanced weaponry, including Chinese-made missiles and Turkish drones that Pakistan attempted to utilize.
Supporting this claim, the Indian government introduced forensic evidence obtained from wreckage, underscoring that despite Pakistan’s reliance on foreign weaponry, India’s own defense systems proved superior.
The role of ISRO in Operation Sindoor
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) played a crucial role in this operation, as stated by ISRO Chairman V Narayanan, who announced that “at least 10 satellites operate round the clock to ensure national security.” He stressed that India’s tactical approach to addressing terrorism linked to Pakistan was deliberate and precise, executed without breaching any borders.
Remarkable performance of Indian weapons
In detailing components of Operation Sindoor, the statement highlighted India’s defense technology. It mentioned a seamless integration of advanced systems, enabling effective drone warfare and comprehensive air defense strategies, marking a significant step towards self-reliance in military technology.
Moreover, it noted the exceptional performance of various equipment, including combat-proven air defense systems such as Pechora, OSA-AK, and indigenous solutions like Akash.
In conclusion, the report stated, “Operation Sindoor represents more than just a tactical win; it’s a testament to India’s commitment to indigenous defense capabilities, showcasing our advanced military technologies at a critical time.”
