Indiana sting operation on sex offenders results in 11 arrests, including 4 undocumented immigrants, according to DHS.

Four of the eleven individuals arrested in a recent police sting operation in Indiana for alleged sex offenses are undocumented immigrants from various countries, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Authorities revealed that these men were under the impression they were conversing with underage girls online and were on their way to meet them for sexual encounters. Instead, they encountered undercover detectives.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has filed detainer requests for these four individuals.

The suspects include El Hadji Babacar Ndiaye, a citizen of Senegal, who was apprehended at the southern border in September 2023 in Lukeville, Arizona. He had been released by the Biden administration.

Lucky Philip Udoudo hails from Nigeria and entered the U.S. as a “got-away” at an unspecified time and location.

Filomeno Ricardo Flores Marin, from Mexico, crossed into the U.S. illegally in Arizona back in 2002.

Another suspect, David Josue Gomez-Posada, is from El Salvador and entered the U.S. illegally as a minor in 2017.

A spokesperson for DHS stated, “We are urging Indiana to honor our detainers. Everyone will have their claims evaluated by an immigration judge, ensuring due process. This administration will uphold the rule of law.”

Marin faces multiple charges, including two counts of sex offenses, one count of molestation of a minor, and one count of enticing a minor for indecent purposes.

Interestingly, Marin has a criminal background, having been arrested previously for stolen property. In fact, he was arrested by ICE in January 2019 during an operation involving the Drug Enforcement Administration in Indianapolis and later released on bond.

Udoudo is charged with child solicitation and sexual misconduct with a minor, while Gomez-Posada is facing charges of child solicitation. Ndiaye is charged specifically with child solicitation.

A DHS representative commented, “Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, breaking the law has consequences. Criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the U.S.”

DHS emphasized that many of the safest cities in the U.S. work in collaboration with ICE, noting that these partnerships are essential for addressing crime and apprehending undocumented immigrants.

The agency also highlighted recent statistics, mentioning that there were 40,000 arrests made in Florida and a two-week operation in West Virginia that resulted in the arrests of 650 undocumented immigrants.
