Authorities say the former Indiana teacher faces dozens of child sex crimes charges after five more victims moved forward with shocking accusations against a 31-year-old woman.
As reported last month by Blaze News, 31-year-old Brittany Fortinberry was arrested and charged with three felony sexual misconduct with minors, counting the spread of issues that are harmful to minors, and counting contributing to minors' delinquency.
Fortinberry is said to provide drugs for minors and then try to have sex with them.
However, the former teacher is now facing several more criminal charges after accusing five more victims of committing child sex offences.
Wishteff Fortinberry reported that he is currently facing a total of 29 charges that contribute to child abuse, the spread of harmful substances to minors, and the delinquency of juveniles.
If convicted on all charges, Fortinbury faces a maximum sentence of 262 years in prison. Prosecutors filed a move to increase Fortinbury's bonds from $20,000 to $150,000.
Fortinberry worked as an alternative teacher. Metropolitan School District in Martinsvilleabout 40 miles southwest of Indianapolis.
Fortinbury worked at Eminence High School in Morgan County and reportedly told some of the suspected victims.
The school district is said to have stopped employing Fortinbury as of January 9, 2024.
After Fortinbury's February arrest, the victim contacted local authorities to reveal more charges of child sexual abuse.
Citation court documents, WTHR-TV The middle school boy reported that Fortinberry had accused him of “he repeatedly dragged him and having sex with him when he was 13.”
The suspect's victim reportedly told investigators that the former teacher would encourage him to take his friends to his home. Once there, Fortinberry is said to provide minor drugs and then try to have sex with them.
The alleged victim reportedly told police that Fortinberry put her child to sleep and tried to have sex with the boy.
Court documents accuse Fortinberry of having group sex with minors and have him wear a mask from a popular film.
“In another incident, the victim said that Fortinberry contacted him after he was arrested in another fraud investigation,” according to WTHR-TV. “She allegedly spent $600 on a group of teenagers for various purchases, but had sex with everyone while wearing masks from the film “Scream.” ”
The suspect, the victim, told investigators that if any of the boys said they didn't want to have sex with her, they would try to be enthusiastic about them by saying, “Just let it happen.”
All teenagers claimed that Fortinberry sent nude and explicit photos and videos about an app called Snapchat and Sessions.
One student allegedly said that Fortinberry paid the boy between $100 and $800 for a genital photo.
According to TMZ, on February 21, Fortinbury's husband filed for divorce from his four-year-old wife.
The 14-year-old student is said to have told Fortinberry to buy boys' dinner, gifts, steam, weeds and THC cartridges.
According to court documents, Fortinberry is allegedly having sex with a teenager.
Fortinberry reportedly reportedly threatened to commit suicide if any of his teens leaked illegal escape.
One of the suspects said that Fortinbury's husband knew about the sexual abuse of the child and “threatened to slaughter.” [the teen] If he comes in front of her. ”
The suspect's husband, Nicholas Fortinberry, is being charged with intimidation and failed reporting.

A spokesman for the Martinsville Metropolitan School District previously said, “The Martinsville Metropolitan School District has been notified of serious allegations against a former employee. The district is fully working with law enforcement and is committed to ensuring a safe learning environment for all MSDs for Martinsville students.”
The district said that Fortinbury was hired as an alternative teacher on October 24, 2023 and resigned from the district on January 9, 2024.
“The resignation had nothing to do with allegations of sexual misconduct,” the spokesman said.
The Fortinberry trial is scheduled to begin on June 25th.
