Individual Who Disturbed Minneapolis Worship Service Accused of Targeting Pete Hegseth’s Church in D.C.

A leftist protester involved in a recent church disruption in Minneapolis has been linked to targeting individuals at Army Secretary Pete Hegseth’s church in Washington, D.C. This revelation comes amid escalating backlash against recent videos showing noisy and destructive protests at places of worship.

During a demonstration against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), protesters entered Cities Church while a service was in progress, as reported by Fox News. A pastor allegedly accused one protester of being affiliated with ICE.

William Kelly, identified as one of the protesters, is also associated with a TikTok account known as “DaWokeFarmer.” He has reportedly made appearances at Hegseth’s church. According to a member of Christ Church in D.C., who wished to remain anonymous, Kelly has a history of verbally attacking churchgoers.

“William Kelly is often outside our church. He shouts incredibly offensive things at families and children. He has called my wife names like ‘whore’ and ‘Nazi breeder’—just nasty stuff,” the church member shared.

A live video of the Sunday incident was shared on YouTube by former CNN host Don Lemon, who insisted he was not connected to the protest group.

Video clips show demonstrators entering the sanctuary and shouting loudly.

In another report, Lemon mentioned that the protesters believed a pastor was connected to ICE. Senior pastor Jonathan Parnell described the protests as “unacceptable” and condemned the disruption of worship.

Additionally, footage captures Lemon confronting the pastor during the chaos.

Kelly’s TikTok includes videos of him walking through churches, where he disparages congregants as “pretending Christians,” screaming out:

No rest for the devil! If you support Kristi Noem, you are the devil!

Last month, Kelly was reportedly arrested by the U.S. Secret Service for allegedly labeling someone a “Nazi.”

Associate Pastor Joe Rigney from Christ Church mentioned that Kelly frequently demonstrates outside their church.

“Kelly is one of the more aggressive and disrespectful protesters, often yelling at churchgoers as they leave. So when our security team saw the recent video from Cities Church, they immediately recognized him,” Rigney stated.

The U.S. Department of Justice is currently looking into potential violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE) and the KKK Act regarding the situation.
