TikTok Influencer Apologizes for Shocking Video Involving Toddlers and Vaping

A New York City influencer and TikTok star is facing backlash after a troubling video resurfaced online, showing her and friends encouraging toddlers to vape. In response to the criticism, Fiona Jordan, a 23-year-old with nearly 600,000 TikTok followers, issued an apology.

In the controversial footage, a child named Taike leans against a vape handed to him by one of Jordan’s friends. He takes a hit, visibly coughing and exhaling a puff of smoke, while Jordan and her peers laugh in the background. The scene raises questions as the young boy looks confused, glancing between Jordan and the adults encouraging him.

Jordan took to social media, explaining that she was only 15 at the time of the incident and struggling with the recent death of her mother. In her apology, she expressed regret for her actions, calling them “teenage stupidity” and acknowledging that it doesn’t represent who she is today.

“I am a human and I make mistakes. This is something I regret more than anything in this world,” she reflected. She mentioned cooperating with law enforcement and taking full responsibility for the actions on that day.

Jordan also attributed her behavior to the influence of her social circle during a difficult time, noting that her grief and the company she kept only fueled her poor choices.

However, not everyone was empathetic to her situation. Comments on social media ranged from sadness over her actions to outright anger, with one follower questioning, “What does your trauma have to do with you doing something like that to a child?” Another comment noted, “This is no mistake. It’s a disturbing illness.”

Previously, Jordan gained attention for her “Get Ready With Me” and “Day in My Life” videos, and she has worked with several notable brands, such as White Fox Boutique and Bloom and Essence Makeup.

The post sought to reach Jordan for further comments.
