An already impressive 2024 offseason just got even better for Travis Kelce.
As he prepares for his 12th NFL season and a chance to win a third straight Super Bowl with Kansas City, the Chiefs' star tight end, who co-hosts the popular podcast “New Heights” with his brother Jason Kelce, signed a mega deal with Amazon's Wondery worth more than $100 million. Variety reported August 2024.
According to Variety , the deal will run for three years and “Wondery will have global distribution rights to all audio and video episodes,” and the platform will “have exclusive rights to monetize and distribute the audio and video podcast episodes.”
Splitting that valuation with Jason and factoring in other figures that may be involved in the deal would put Travis' profits at roughly $50 million.
Travis' popularity continues to grow as he becomes increasingly romantically involved with global superstar Taylor Swift.
From endorsement deals to contract extensions and even TV appearances, here's what you need to know about Travis' ever-growing earnings.
Off-field sponsorship
Over the years, Kelsey has partnered with many well-known brands, including Subway, Pfizer, Old Spice, State Farm, and Nike.
May 2023, Andrew Petcash of Profluence said: Kelsey earned $5 million a year from endorsement deals.
The Kelseys are also planning to launch a cereal line in collaboration with General Mills in fall 2024 called “Kelsey Mix,” which will include popular flavors like Lucky Charms, Reese's Puffs and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Contract extension
A third-round pick by Cincinnati in 2013, Kelce initially signed a four-year, $3.12 million contract with the Chiefs and received a signing bonus of $703,304. According to Spotrac.
Three years later, he signed a five-year, $46 million contract extension with the Chiefs.
The Chiefs re-signed Kelce again in 2020, agreeing to a four-year, $57.25 million extension.
Two months after winning his third Super Bowl with the Chiefs, Kelce will become the league's highest-paid tight end in April 2024, and Kansas City added two more years and $34.25 million to his contract.
According to Spotrac, Kelce's career earnings are estimated at $76.9 million.
Hollywood's Move
In addition to supporting Swift on her mega-hit “Ellas Tour,” which grossed over $1 billion, during the 2024 offseason, Kelsea also added the titles “actor” and “game show host” to her resume.
The All-Pro tight end has been tapped to host Amazon's “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” in April 2024, a renewal of the old series “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” previously hosted by Jeff Foxworthy.
A month later, he joined the cast of Ryan Murphy's horror series Grotesquerie, which is set to premiere on FX in September 2024.
The Chiefs open the 2024 NFL season on Sept. 5 against the Ravens.
