Inspiring stories from 2023 that will give you HOPE for 2024

In the face of Bidenmics, non-stop wars, disease, and nearly non-existent borders, it can be difficult to feel like you're making a difference.

But Glenn Beck has good news for his audience. You have actually made a significant difference.

“You might think we're not doing anything this year,” Glenn said, noting that it was precisely because of the audience that the Nazareth Fund was able to help so many persecuted people this year.

The Nazarene Fund currently provides food and life-support supplies to approximately 125 people in Afghanistan each month. Most of those supported are widows with children or hidden Christians.

The fund also evacuates high-risk individuals from Afghanistan to safe housing in Pakistan, where they await eventual resettlement.

To date, 22,000 people have successfully immigrated around the world, Glenn said.

One of the greatest successes Glenn saw was through a prisoner of war camp in Syria called Al-Hol.

There are approximately 10,000 Yazidi slaves in the camps, and the Nazareth Fund is working tirelessly to free them. So far, 172 people have been rescued and sent to Australia, and 18 people have been sent to Canada.

But that's not all.

“We are reuniting these women with their families in Iraq, rescuing survivors of human trafficking in Iraq, rescuing families fleeing religious persecution for their Christian faith in Syria, and putting them in harm’s way. We provide safe homes for Yazidi women and their children who are being affected by 'war','' Glenn explains.

The Nazarene Fund has also responded with support for its Israeli partners, operating a chartered flight from Tel Aviv to Nashville for U.S. nationals and Israeli survivors of the October 7 attacks.

The foundation is also partnering with Mercury One to fund the relocation to the United States of six Israeli families who survived the attacks.

But that's not all.

Operation LEGO was launched in Nigeria on April 30, targeting any person or organization involved in illegal trade, including organ harvesting, human trafficking, child abduction and exploitation, infant factories, and ritual killings.

Six traffickers were arrested and 32 children were rescued and are now in custody.

“I want you to know, commercial radio audiences have never done this before, and I don't think commercial television audiences have ever done anything like this,” Glenn says. “Thank you. It's an honor to be by your side and serve you.”
