The Supreme Court has ruled that the Biden administration may continue cutting razor wire at the southern Texas border.
But Texas isn't giving up the fight.
“Texas, as you know, we are not backing down,” Lt. Chris Olivares, a spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, told Glenn Beck.
“I just came back from Eagle Pass last night to get an overview of what's going on and what's going to happen with this whole Supreme Court decision, and at least on our side, DPS and the National Guard… Nothing has changed regarding that,” he explains.
The National Guard continues to install more barriers along the river to deter illegal border crossings.
“I like this,” Glenn said, noting that the government is creating a narrative that people like Olivares are “making it harder to do their jobs.” I don't know what the job is.”
Olivares believes that what the federal government is doing is “trying to create a divide between federal agencies and the states” and “creating a kind of conflict that doesn't exist.”
Meanwhile, illegal immigrants who may have ties to terrorists are walking freely across the border.
“You can only imagine what kind of people are in this country right now,” Olivares said, adding: “The threat is already here.”
