Intel Reveals Timing of U.S.-Israel Operation Linked to Khamenei’s Inner Circle Meeting

The U.S. and Israeli forces have initiated an offensive against Iran, marking the beginning of a significant phase in their largest joint military operation. This action comes after intelligence indicated that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was in a secure location meeting with high-ranking advisers.

American officials noted that the confirmation of this meeting led to a coordinated air-sea operation, as Israeli intelligence identified it occurring sooner than anticipated, according to reports. A U.S. official familiar with the situation shared this information.

The strikes were ramped up to maintain an element of surprise, with rising concerns that Iranian leadership might relocate if they had the chance.

The U.S. has engaged actively against the Islamic regime in Tehran alongside the Israeli military, which officials claimed represents an extraordinary accumulation of American firepower in the area.

Israeli reports indicated that Khamenei was killed in the offensive, along with other high-profile Iranian figures, including former National Security Council secretary Ali Shamkhani and commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, Mohammad Pakpour.

President Donald Trump acknowledged the operation’s success, stating on Truth Social that Khamenei “couldn’t escape our intelligence and complex tracking systems,” emphasizing that “there was nothing he or the other leaders killed alongside him could have done, especially with Israel’s collaboration.”

Witness accounts suggest that satellite images have shown extensive damage to Khamenei’s fortified complex in Tehran early in the operation.

Israeli channel 12 mentioned that both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump were presented with images of Khamenei’s body, which was retrieved from the compound, underscoring the depth of intelligence gathering behind the strike.

Israeli officials characterized the assault as the largest aerial operation in the nation’s history, deploying around 200 aircraft to target numerous sites across Iran, while U.S. naval and missile forces executed simultaneous operations in the region.

As of now, U.S. Central Command has reported no military casualties from the U.S. side.

The timing of the operation, closely tied to real-time intelligence regarding Khamenei’s whereabouts, aims to not only cripple Iran’s military capacity but also to significantly disrupt its top leadership. This outcome has been associated by both President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu with broader ambitions for regime change in Tehran.
