‘Intentions Are Political’: Aaron Rodgers Looks To Launch Career In Politics After Days In NFL Are Over: REPORT

From the iron bars…to the White House?

Current New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers reportedly wants to try his hand at politics after retiring from the NFL.

For now, 40 years old As the leader of a dysfunctional 3-8 Jets team, he played such terrible football that he became the laughing stock of the league. Things haven't been great for Rodgers on the playing field as of late, but luckily he already has plans to recapture his potential post-retirement glory. According to a report on Wednesday, daily mailRather than appearing in the broadcast booth like other legendary quarterbacks, Rodgers will likely move into politics and run for office. (Tom Brady, Troy Aikman, etc.)

A source for the Daily Mail said, “He's interested in playing a few more years in the NFL with the Jets, but if that doesn't work out, he'll consider other options for another Super Bowl chance.'' I would consider going there.”

“But his intentions after playing are political. If that makes sense, he'll run for president, or at least be the vice presidential candidate the way RFK Jr. wanted him to be this year. When he retires, he will have no problem running for political office.”

Just a quick fact: I love Robert F. Kennedy and pretty much everything he stands for, but there's no way I can vote for his buddy Aaron. That's not true.
