NBA Celebrity Game Kicks Off All-Star Weekend
The NBA Celebrity Game has become a staple of All-Star Weekend, starting the celebrations on Friday night. This year’s lineup features 22 participants, including an NBA owner, a notable sports reporter, a few NFL stars, and, um, a 38-year-old guy who isn’t really in the spotlight much and, well, seems to have a lot for people to look up online.
The 2026 NBA Celebrity Game certainly has a unique angle. Shams Charania will play on a team that’s coached by Giannis Antetokounmpo along with his brothers, Alex and Thanasis. Charania has been stirring up trade rumors about Giannis for a while now, particularly during the last trade deadline, yet, here we are—Giannis is still with the Bucks. So, will he tease Shams about his coverage? I guess we’ll find out.
The game is set for February 13th at 7:00 PM ET, taking place at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Below is the complete roster of celebrities participating.
Giannis, Alex, and Thanasis Antetokounmpo will share coaching duties with baseball star Mookie Betts.
Keegan-Michael Key: Oh, I recognize this guy! The 54-year-old actor and comedian is probably best known for Key & Peele. I mean, this gives me a great excuse to link one of the best sports skits ever.
Roma Flynn: This 34-year-old actor is best recognized for roles in How to Get Away with Murder and The Bold and the Beautiful.
Dylan Wang: A 27-year-old Chinese actor and singer, he gained fame for his role in Meteor Garden. Oh, and he has 6.2 million followers on Instagram—apparently, he’s a huge LeBron James fan.
Shams Charania: For NBA followers, Shams is a household name. He’s become that guy who gets all the insider scoops, often on par with Woj. At 31, he’s originally from the Chicago suburbs.
Jenna Bundy: Known for her work as a sports content creator. Just look at that throw!
Rick Schnall: A 57-year-old minority owner of the Atlanta Hawks.
Tacko Fall: Tacko, wow! I’ve written about him before. Standing at 7 feet 6 inches, he went undrafted in 2019 and has played for teams like the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers before moving to China.
Jeremy Lin: Linsanity returns! This former NBA player made a name for himself with the Knicks. At 37, he recently played in Taiwan.
Glorilla: A 26-year-old rap star from Memphis—you might have heard her popular track “TGIF”.
Kafu: The retired Brazilian soccer star is often considered one of the best full-backs ever, and yes, he is 55.
Amon-Ra St. Brown: A standout wide receiver for the Detroit Lions.
The team will be coached by actor Anthony Anderson, social media influencer Lethal Shooter, and NBA trainer Chris Brickley.
Simu Liu: This 36-year-old Canadian actor and stuntman is famous for his role in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Cody Jones: Co-founder of Perfect Man.

Taylor Frankie Paul: A 31-year-old star from The Secret Life of Mormon Wives—she’s set to appear on the next season of The Bachelorette.
Matt Ishbia: Owner of the Phoenix Suns.
Jason Williams: White Chocolate! One of my childhood favorites. Will he pull off the elbow pass?
Nicholas Vansteenberg: He was featured on Love Island.
Mustard: Mustard—This 35-year-old music producer is quite a big name, at least in my opinion.
Adrian Nunes: I remember covering him when he played at Michigan. Now, he’s transitioned to country music.
Keenan Allen: A long-time NFL wide receiver, he’s likely to enter the Hall of Fame someday.
