Investigation into Biden’s Cognitive Health Continues
As lawmakers delve deeper into the situation surrounding former President Joe Biden, it seems that those close to him have been aware of his suspected cognitive decline. Insiders who have discussed this matter reveal a troubling “fog of denial” that continues to obscure the reality of the aging leader.
Chris Whipple, the author of “Uncharted,” pointed out that despite various setbacks, those around Biden have held onto their beliefs, even when faced with uncomfortable truths. He specifically noted how the inner circle reacted to Biden’s criticized debate performance, which many think ultimately ended his reelection campaign.
Crisis of Credibility
There’s an apparent discrepancy in how the media scrutinized Donald Trump’s health compared to how they address Biden’s condition. Former Chief of Staff Ron Crane recently mentioned that despite the overwhelming evidence against Biden’s candidacy—like that disastrous debate—he still believed Biden could stand a chance against Trump.
In conversations with Whipple, Crane spoke candidly about the state of Biden’s health during preparations at Camp David and how even with all signs pointing to disaster, he wasn’t willing to let go of his support.
Meanwhile, House Republicans have initiated an investigation into Biden’s cognitive capabilities, calling on former officials from his administration to testify. Many witnesses, including Biden’s doctor, have opted not to answer questions, invoking their right to remain silent.
Senate Hearing on Biden’s Cognitive Challenges
As discussions continue, Senate Republicans are also planning a hearing to address these concerns more formally.
Efforts to Conceal Biden’s Cognitive Issues
Whipple, drawing from insights gathered during interviews, does not think there’s some grand scheme behind the scenes controlling the presidency. He dismissed theories suggesting that Biden’s last year in office was orchestrated by an unseen cabal as simply absurd.
“It’s preposterous to suggest that there’s a cover-up going on among Biden’s inner circle. Honestly, I don’t think this situation is going to change,” Whipple concluded.
