Investigation into Charlie Kirk's assassination expands to examine pro-trans online communities

The federal investigation into the assassination of Charlie Kirk has broadened to determine if Tyler Robinson and associated online groups had prior knowledge of the plan to kill him.

Law enforcement is examining various left-wing organizations, both in Utah and online, to understand if they played a role in the shooting or were at least aware it might happen.

This inquiry focuses on a segment of the online gaming community and a pro-trans group known as Armed Queers SLC. Sources have confirmed that discussions began shortly after Kirk’s death.

Additionally, some social media activity following the incident has raised questions about whether there were warnings about the attack ahead of time on September 10th.

It appears investigators are piecing together clues to ascertain whether Robinson was working alone or had accomplices.

The Armed Queers SLC has made waves with their provocative imagery, including powerful rifle rounds resembling those that hit Kirk, and they held a “Queer Resistance” lecture at the University of Utah in September 2023.

This group is known for promoting events in alignment with self-identified “Left Student Organizations,” featuring bold visual themes, like a young woman donned in ammunition belts and wielding an AK-47.

The promotional material for their events includes recognizable symbols like a hammer and sickle and a rainbow flag alongside phrases centered on “season, education, organizing.”

In a past interview, a representative from Armed Queers SLC stated, “To us, this commitment to something greater than ourselves signifies more than just risk; it’s part of our struggle against various forms of oppression.”

Recent findings suggest that Robinson may have been influenced by extreme leftist ideologies and negative online cultures.

Robinson’s relationship with a live-in partner, who is transitioning, has also come under scrutiny, with law enforcement suggesting it might have been a motivating factor.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox mentioned on CNN that investigators are exploring this angle, noting that his partner, Lance Twiggs, is being cooperative.

Twiggs, who hasn’t been implicated in the crime, expressed surprise at the unfolding events and pledged to assist investigators.

Kirk, known for his outspoken stances on controversial gender issues and criticisms of trans participation in women’s sports, was shot in the neck while responding to a question about mass shootings among transgender individuals.

Governor Cox shared thoughts with journalists, emphasizing that Robinson had seemingly become deeply indoctrinated with a leftist ideology.

Information sourced from within the investigation revealed insights into Robinson’s views, which surfaced during discussions with family members.

On social media, users have shared alarming posts that suggest potential foreknowledge of Kirk’s assassination, particularly from accounts that have since been deleted or made private.

One post, made the day before the shooting, mentioned, “Charlie Kirk is coming to my university tomorrow,” followed by a suggestion that, “big things will happen tomorrow,” which accompanied a meme.

Hours after the incident, the same account shared a post indicating they had filmed Kirk while he was being filmed.

Another widely circulated archived clip featured ominous soundtracks juxtaposed with visuals of individuals and direct references to Kirk, seemingly hinting at something substantial to come.

The FBI has refrained from commenting on specific organizations being scrutinized, and the Utah Department of Public Safety has not provided feedback on these ongoing investigations. Attempts to contact Armed Queers SLC went unanswered.
