Journalists like Arden Young continue to do honest work.
Sound Investigations' Young recently turned his attention to Pornhub, a website that boasts millions of porn videos online and more than 180 million unique visitors each day.
This journalist went undercover to uncover the truth about Pornhub's abhorrent practices, straight from the mouths of unsuspecting senior employees.
She recorded these employees admitting to engaging in illegal, unlawful and scandalous conduct behind the scenes. The information she revealed is so damning that, ironically, Pornhub is threatening to sue her for not consenting to the recording of her employees.
Young told Allie Beth Stuckey that she decided to pursue the company because “sexual exploitation was always on my mind.”
This closeness is due to her upbringing in Hollywood, where she was “placed in and witnessed a lot of situations that were very inappropriate.”
She first noticed Pornhub after seeing a 2020 New York Times article called “The Children of Pornhub.” In this article, she detailed the victims' attempts to have their abuse videos removed from Pornhub. Many of these victims were minors.
Although Pornhub claimed to have changed its ways after that article, Young and her partner “had a hunch that this was not the case.”
And with the surprising information that Young tirelessly gathered and revealed to Stuckey, it's clear that their hunch was correct.
