Iowa ‘Overrepresented’ by White Christians

Ahead of the resumption of the Iowa caucuses on MSNBC on Monday, with former President Donald Trump on the verge of a landslide victory in the Hawkeye State, network host Joy Reid attacked so-called white Christians.

Reid deemed white Christians “overrepresented” in Iowa and blamed their motivations for President Trump's success.

“We were kind of laughing about the fact that he was talking about a possible election when he's literally lost everything he's touched for the last four years,” Reid said. “But I feel like an important data point, and Steve talks about it a lot, and we're going to talk a little bit more about it tonight, is that they are white Christians. This state, especially tonight, A majority of white Christians plan to participate in the caucus.

“Everything we think about the chances of an election, what people are betting on, when you believe that God gave you this country and this country is yours, , none of that matters,” she continued. “And that everyone but conservative white Christians are fraudulent Americans, not real Americans. And you don't care about the chances of election. I value what you gave me.”
