‘Irresponsible to Broadcast’ Trump’s Victory Speech

MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow said Tuesday on “Decision 2024” that it would be “irresponsible to broadcast” former President Donald Trump’s Super Tuesday victory speech.

Mr. Maddow said after interrupting his speech. Yes, that’s right. This is in terms of the balance between intentionally allowing someone to lie on your broadcast about something they’ve lied about before, and being able to predict that they’re going to lie in the future. It’s a decision that we constantly revisit. So it would be irresponsible to let them do something like that. That’s because we know it would be irresponsible to broadcast it, and because this person who is the de facto — soon to be de facto Republican candidate — could be the Republican presidential nominee. It’s a question of balance between not only being expensive, but also knowing that this is a de facto person. The way he runs. ”

co-host Stephanie Ruhl said. Would you like to thoroughly investigate the truth about him? ”

Maddow said, “Yes, we do it after the fact. That’s the best remedy we can get. To be honest, the fact that we aired it doesn’t fix it. ”
