Racist nonsense known as “diversity, equity, and inclusion” appearance You'll lose anywhere, but don't factor that in until progressive Democrats start claiming they didn't really vote for it.
DEI's latest defeat came at Walmart, America's number one employer.
After being targeted by woke activist Robbie Starbuck, The retail giant admitted it is making major changes to its DEI efforts.
Starbucks reached out to companies like John Deere, Harley-Davidson, Caterpillar, and Ford Motor Co., and got results.
But Walmart is a completely different entity.
It has enough economic power to tell its critics, woke or not, to pound sand.
Except when Starbucks approached the company, its McCamook did the opposite.
According to Starbuck, “We had a productive conversation to find a solution.”
Because Walmart had it. already I am far from waking up.
Transgender products like chest binders will no longer be sold to children.
And it has no intention of extending five years of spending on the creepy “Center for Racial Equity” first established in 2020 at the height of DEI fever.
It will also end its participation (along with John Deere and other companies) in the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, a blacklist created by HRC to extort concessions from corporations.
Huh, why?
Is it because people just want to buy a new lawn mower or a box of Tide Pods without getting lectured about privilege by some hard-eared Ivy Leaguer?
It's not rocket science.
Adopting outrageous and divisive political positions will turn many Americans away from your company.
And when you shove them down people's throats, you end up alienating each other.
That, of course, is the result of a groundbreaking study published last week by Rutgers University's Network Infection Research and Social Cognition Research Institute: Promoting Ibram X's “Anti-Racist” Ideas.
Kendi and Robin DeAngelo talk about people only to remind them that there is racism behind everything.
But the fact that the New York Times chose to focus its reporters' work on that investigation is telling. DEI and the larger left have nearly conquered America's elite cultural and academic institutions, including the media, as well as the Democratic Party and the government it controls.
The private sector may ignore DEI as quickly as it embraced it in 2020, but leftist strongholds won't give up so easily.
Until the left-liberals who were so important in shoving DEI down our throats, just like “defunding the police” and open borders, started pretending that DEI really started as a Trump administration policy. , don't count DEI as something that's really a dead giveaway.
