Visa Inc. Among Top AI and Non-Tech Stocks
A recent article highlighted Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) as one of the top AI and non-tech stocks to consider during this earnings season.
Tim Seymour, founder and chief investment officer of Seymour Asset Management, discussed on a CNBC segment that Visa is poised for a “very strong” performance in 2026. This optimism is attributed to a robust consumer environment and the company’s increasing transaction volumes.
“We’ve received insights from various data points, including Chase, and it appears consumers are doing well. In this market, Visa stands out as a compelling investment. Its stock has shifted in terms of trading patterns compared to previous years and seems undervalued relative to its peers. Many traders and investors are eyeing this either from the sidelines or amidst current economic conditions, but Visa (NYSE: V) looks quite promising. We anticipate U.S. transaction volumes could improve by about 100 basis points, and guidance for 2026 appears favorable—as we expect growth there to hover in the low double digits on a currency-neutral basis. That’s likely all it needs to keep gaining traction,” Seymour said.
Sands Capital Select Growth Strategy also offered some insights into Visa Inc. (NYSE: V), noting that although card network stocks faced declines in June due to concerns surrounding stablecoins, they do not see stablecoins impacting card circulation negatively. Instead, they believe stablecoins could actually widen the market for card networks. While stablecoins might have a role in cross-border business transactions, it seems unlikely they will replace conventional consumer-to-seller payments, where cards provide significant advantages like rewards and trust. The existing card networks could also promote stablecoin adoption by offering necessary frameworks and protections.
Despite Visa’s potential, some analysts suggest that certain AI stocks might yield better returns with less downside risk. If you’re in the hunt for attractive AI investment options that could benefit from recent economic shifts, there are intriguing opportunities out there.
