Donald Trump has announced that the ISIS leader has been killed in Iraq.

Trump said, “He was mercilessly cornered by our brave fighters. His miserable life, along with another member of ISIS, was fired in cooperation with the Iraqi government and Kurdish local government.”

One of the men killed was Abdallah Macki Musli Al-Rifei, known as the “Deputy Carriph.”

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohamed Shea al-Sudani has said he is “one of the most dangerous terrorists in Iraq and in the world.”

CNN reported:

Officials from both countries said they worked with Iraqi intelligence reporting agencies and security services to kill the famous leader of the Islamic state in an airstrike in western Iraq.

Abdallah Makki Muslih Al-Rifai, aka “Abu Khadijah,” known as the “Deputy Carriph” of extremist groups, “one of the most dangerous terrorists in Iraq and the world,” Iraqi Prime Minister Mohamed Shea Al Sudani said in a statement posted to X.

The US and Iraqi forces have found two ISIS members dead at the site of the strike. According to a CentCom statement, both were “wearing a non-explosive “suicide vest” and had multiple weapons.”
