Israel alerts US about Iran's alleged new plan to kill Trump.

Recent reports indicate that Israel has informed the United States about an alleged new Iranian plan to assassinate President Donald Trump. This information, first shared by The Wall Street Journal, adds another layer to the ongoing threats against Trump, who has made it clear that he intends to respond to Iran following the 2020 US airstrike that killed Qasem Soleimani.

The White House, addressing questions about these developments, directed inquiries to Fox News Digital. Trump remarked, “They’re trying to get rid of the leader of the United States, which means me. I’m on every list. I’ve been a bit lucky so far, but that might not last. They’re truly evil people, and we need to eliminate that threat.” This sentiment echoes a broader anxiety felt by many political figures.

Fox News Digital also sought comments from the Israeli embassy in Washington and from Iran’s mission to the United Nations.

The reports suggest a tense dynamic between President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, especially concerning strategy following last month’s conflict involving Iran. Netanyahu has advocated for ongoing military actions against Tehran, while Trump seems more inclined toward maintaining a fragile ceasefire in the region after US military actions targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Following these allegations, Trump and Netanyahu met and reiterated their commitment to cooperation, with Trump updating Netanyahu on recent activities in the Gulf.

Moreover, during a funeral for Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Iranian mourners reportedly called for Trump’s death and displayed banners declaring, “We will kill Trump.” This furthers the narrative of Iran’s longstanding vows of retribution against Trump for the 2020 operation that resulted in Soleimani’s death.
