Israel Eliminates Two Senior Iranian Security Leaders

Israeli Forces Target Iranian Officials

Israeli forces reportedly killed two high-ranking Iranian security officials in separate overnight operations, signaling a significant weakening of the Iranian leadership and its command structure, according to multiple sources on Tuesday.

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stated that one of the incidents involved the death of Ali Larijani, Iran’s leading security figure, who was struck fatally during the attack on his military position.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed their involvement in these actions.

Larijani, a seasoned figure and former nuclear negotiator closely associated with the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, met his end on the conflict’s inaugural day.

His death occurred just four days after he participated in a Quds Day demonstration in Tehran, where he mockingly addressed US President Donald Trump during a live broadcast.

Larijani had warned Trump to “be careful not to get eliminated” amid the ongoing military operations aimed at curtailing Iran’s influence as a major source of terrorism.

In a related development, the Israeli military also announced its operation leading to the death of General Gholam Reza Soleimani, who held command over the Revolutionary Guard’s voluntary Basij unit, according to Associated Press reports.

Iranian state media have yet to verify the fatalities of these officials, as the country finds itself increasingly lacking in leadership.

While there’s been no immediate confirmation regarding Larijani and Soleimani, it was indicated that a statement from Larijani’s office would be forthcoming.

The recent killings further diminish the Iranian theocracy’s top ranks, following the February 28 attack that resulted in the passing of the 86-year-old Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

Katz remarked, “Larijani and Basij were removed last night, joining Ayatollah Khamenei in the depths of hell.” His words reflect the intense atmosphere surrounding these operations.

As of now, Iran has not officially confirmed the deaths of Larijani or Soleimani.

Expectations remain high as the situation continues to develop.
