Israel thwarted a conspiracy by Palestinian terrorists on Thursday, blowing up several buses after some explosives exploded prematurely on empty buses, warning authorities of the overall plan.

On Thursday evening, several buses exploded in various parts of central Israel, creating planned, massive terrorist bombing attempts by terrorists from Hamas on the West Bank.
At least three bombs exploded the bus in the Bat Yam area, Israeli police said.

According to a news report on Channel 12, the device was scheduled to explode on Friday morning when the bus was in use, but left early. Former IDF Operations Chief Giora Eiland speculated that the timer was set incorrectly.
The network also reported that one of the uninducing devices was discovered due to an alert from a passenger who notified the driver of a suspicious bag, and that police believe they are involved in planting the bomb .
