Navy's highest-ranking officer successfully treats breast cancer
Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti underwent successful treatment for early-stage breast cancer this summer, the Navy said on Friday. Adm. Franchetti, the Navy's highest-ranking officer, was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer during a routine mammogram in late June. Florida Republican congressman clashes with US ambassador over Venezuela sanctions
Rep. Maria Salazar (R-Fla.) criticized the U.S. ambassador to Nicaragua over its oil and gas policy in Venezuela during a House Foreign Affairs subcommittee hearing on Friday.
