A Maryland doctor is speaking out after an Israeli flag was stolen from his office, demanding that the perpetrator be held accountable for the hate crime.
Dr. John Parkerson, who caught on camera a thief stealing an Israeli flag that hangs in front of his Baltimore office, appeared on “Fox & Friends First” to explain why he believes the hate crime suspect should be held accountable.

“It’s really full of hate. It’s the same guy … This is my business, this is my property,” Parkerson told Todd Pirro on Friday. “The rage on his face is just horrible.”
“I feel violated,” he continued. “This is just an affront… to decency. It’s evil. This is a hate crime. I’m vigilant, but I’m not going to be cowed by this.”
Parkerson first caught a thief ripping up an Israeli flag in May, and another incident occurred more recently on Monday.

Pirro noted that Parkerson is not Jewish and asked why it was important to him to take a stand in support of the Jewish state in the wake of the Oct. 7 massacre by Hamas, especially as war continues in the Middle East.
Hamas fighters killed more than 1,200 people during the terrorist attacks and took about 250 hostages to the Gaza Strip.

“For decades we’ve had other flags flying in front of our office, but after Oct. 7 we just felt it was the right thing to do to support the Jewish and Israeli community,” Parkerson said.
“I have Jewish relatives, friends and colleagues. My wife is a devout Catholic and worked in a Jewish hostel for many years. We obviously have sympathy for the Jewish people. We’re not doing this to antagonize anyone.”
“I was just trying to show my support and this happened,” he continued. “I believe I have a right to express my opinion and I don’t have a right to be violently attacked like this.”
Despite the incident, Parkerson said he would continue to show his support for Israel as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continues its war in Gaza to eradicate Hamas.
“A new flag has been raised and we are going to keep moving forward,” Parkerson said. “We are not going to be intimidated by these criminals.”
