“I would like to thank you for your great achievements, [of Sinwar’s apparent killing]Families of the hostages express grave concern about the fate of the 101 hostages still held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip and demand that: [the government] and to secure an immediate agreement to leverage military achievements to realize their return,” the forum said in a statement. “The removal of Sinwar is an important milestone towards real victory, which will only be achieved with the return of the 101 abductees.”

The announcement came after a DNA test confirmed the death of Sinwar, who was killed along with two others in an Israeli missile attack.

Additionally, the Israeli military said there was no evidence that there were any Israeli hostages in the building where the three terrorists were killed.

At the time, the Jewish state said visual evidence suggested one of the men was likely Shinwar, and DNA testing was being conducted to confirm.

Sinwar was known as the mastermind of October 7th.th It was the attack on Israel that sparked the Gaza war, and he has been at the top of Israel's most wanted list ever since.

Meanwhile, families say the Israeli government has failed to capitalize on Israeli moves in the fighting in Gaza to free the remaining 101 hostages.

They called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to direct the hostage negotiation team to reach an immediate agreement to release their loved ones.

The bereaved families stated, “Unless all 101 abductees are released, there is no complete victory, and there will never be one.''
