Rumors are starting to circulate that President Biden will grant pre-emptive pardons to a number of people whom Donald Trump believes will go after him as president, including Dr. Anthony Fauci.
“You don't think you can do it, but they'll try it anyway.” glenn beck Senator Rand Paul, a guest on the Glenn Beck Program, says:
“I sent a referral, a criminal referral, twice to the Department of Justice regarding Anthony Fauci, and I never got a response. Merrick Garland is not doing his job. He's probably the most partisan person ever.” “If they pre-emptively pardon Anthony Fauci, I will send the referral again,'' Paul explains.
“It will determine his fate as the architect, author, and godfather of the pandemic,” Paul continues. “He's the one who funded it. He's the one who funded the Wuhan research. He's the one who made sure the research wasn't scrutinized.”
“There was a safety committee that was supposed to scrutinize dangerous research. It was set up precisely out of fear that this was going to happen. We were worried that this was going to happen, and we've been talking about this for 20 years. “There are scientists who have done this, and Anthony Fauci has circumvented the safety board and allowed this research to continue,” he explains.
“Then when he came forward as having done it, he was like, 'Oh, there's nothing to see here, we're not really doing it.'” Oh, well, we funded EcoHealth, they also funded Wuhan, and oh, there's nothing to see here,” he continues. “And he had the courage to say it wasn't gain of function and it wasn't dangerous. That's a lie.”
That's why Paul doesn't believe a presidential pardon would do much for Fauci at this point.
“If the president grants a pardon, I think it will further solidify his role in history as an architect of acquisition of power,” Paul tells Glenn. Glenn believes that's where Trump-appointed FBI Director Kash Patel comes into play. in.
“I hope he only releases the raw evidence he collected,” Glenn says. “It's like a Twitter file, where you can see all the sensitive stuff that the American people need to see.”
“The FBI did do their job. They wrote a report and said they believe the coronavirus originated in a lab and that the virus and the pandemic started with a lab leak. They haven't released the report. They've been told to declassify it,” Paul said, adding, “I truly believe Kash Patel will review it.”
