Ivanka Trump commends her father and husband for the Israel-Hamas peace agreement

Peace Agreement between Israel and Hamas Acknowledged by Ivanka Trump

On October 10, 2025, Ivanka Trump expressed her gratitude to her father, former President Donald Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, for their efforts in securing a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas. She shared a photo of the three of them on Instagram, appreciating her father’s leadership in providing “true hope for lasting peace” in a region filled with turmoil.

In her message, she acknowledged the contributions of Steve Witkoff, the U.S. special envoy for the Middle East, who collaborated with Kushner and officials from Qatar and Egypt to bring the agreement to fruition.

The initial phase of the accord started on Friday, with Hamas expected to release 48 hostages—20 of whom are thought to still be alive—by Monday. In return, Israel is set to free 250 Palestinian prisoners and 1,700 others.

“I am extremely proud of my husband and Steve Witkoff. Their determination highlights that even in dark times, progress is achievable. The hope they’ve restored to families seeking safety and dignity is invaluable,” Ivanka noted.

She ended her post with a prayer for healing and unity but suggested that celebrations would be postponed until all hostages are returned safely.

On Saturday, the Kushners met Witkoff at Hostage Square in Tel Aviv. Kushner reflected on the profound emotions stemming from the events of October 7, expressing gratitude for Witkoff’s dedication over the last ten months.

Ivanka shared a message from her father, saying, “He sees you, hears your voice, and is always with you.” This resonated with the crowd, who responded with shouts of “Thank you, Trump!”

“The return of each hostage is a moment of relief and a testament to our shared humanity,” Ivanka remarked. “While we pray, many are committed to ensuring this week fosters healing as we move forward. We hope for a lasting peace for years to come.”
