Ivanka Trump will support father as he returns to ‘world’s loneliest position’

With one week left until President-elect Donald Trump's “solitary” return to the White House, Ivanka Trump is ready to support her father for the next four years.

During a recent appearance Skinny Confidential His and Hers Podcast, The soon-to-be-eldest daughter briefly reflected on the first Trump administration, where she served as a senior adviser for four years, and how she is adapting to her new supporting role as a daughter.

“It's the loneliest position in the world.” [the presidency]the enormity of the decisions you make every day, how transactional everyone is to you,” she told hosts Lauryn Evarts Bosstick and Michael Bosstick.

“As your close friends know, everyone is passionate about something, and everyone spends a little time with you doing what they think is good, positive, and productive for this country and the world. I was thinking about that a lot for the first four years, but I've stepped away from that a little bit now.

“I think what I'm most looking forward to as a daughter is being able to show up to him and be there for him and just take his mind off it and watch movies with him and watch sports games with him.” can be with me and be himself and just relax and I can offer that to him and as his daughter in a very loving way,” she continued.

Ivanka's husband, Jared Kushner, also served as a senior adviser to her father during his controversial first term.

President-elect Trump will be sworn in for a second term on January 20th, becoming the second person in history to serve non-consecutive terms. Now back in the White House, he is focusing on issues raised frequently by voters during the 2024 campaign, including immigration, the economy and foreign affairs.

Since leaving office in 2021, the Trump family has faced serious challenges, indictments, and assassination attempts.

Going forward, Mr. Trump will face challenges including foreign wars, persistent inflation, and tensions with China. A changing of the guard, a Republican takeover of Congress and the White House, could soon lead to new policies and fundamental changes.

Michael Bosstick spoke with Ivanka and said her father's political comeback is “probably” the greatest in “the history of the world.”

”[My father is] I was excited. we are excited. I think it's going to be a great four years, with the overall excitement driving in this country,” Ivanka said.
