J.D. Vance’s ‘Inexperience Is Real’ — People Will Wonder If He Is a Plausible President

While discussing Sen. J.D. Vance’s (R-Ohio) lack of experience is a fact, Fox News chief political analyst Brit Hume said Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” while discussing his qualifications to be vice president.

“I can understand why Trump made this choice. He’s young, he’s energetic, he’s very bright and he’s a brilliant orator. I’m sure he could picture himself in a debate with Kamala Harris, going head to head with his competition without any problems. On the other hand, as someone who might be hesitant to vote for Donald Trump, if you’re looking for some reassurance that if something were to happen to this old man, and we saw that over the weekend, that certainly is a possibility. We’ve seen Joe Biden’s condition and we know what the president will be like after a few years in office. I’m not sure this is a choice you feel comfortable with,” Hume said.

“He’s 39 years old. He’s very smart. It’s true that he lacks experience. Donald Jr. is wrong to say experience doesn’t matter. Experience is very important and he has very little. People are looking at him and saying, is this guy fit to be president? You can argue that he is, or you can argue that he isn’t,” he said.
