J.K. Rowling Scrutinizes John Oliver For Claiming There’s ‘No Evidence’ Trans Athletes Have An Advantage: ‘You’re Happy To Watch Females Suffer’

harry potter Author JK Rowling criticized John Oliver's recent pro-trans monologue, in which Oliver claimed there was “no evidence” that transgender athletes “threaten safety or equity.”

John Oliver's comment: HBO Last week's segment mocked concerns that transgender people participating in women's sports could harm female athletes.
“The Harris campaign has failed to develop a response, especially since it is so simple. Look, I will respond in a moment. There are very few girls anywhere, and even if there were more, transgender children, like all children, are different in terms of athletic ability, and there is no evidence that they pose a threat to safety or equity.'' Oliver stated.

Peyton McNabb suffered severe head injuries when a male player spiked her in the face during a high school volleyball game.
Rowling posted a lengthy reply that sliced through Oliver's points, characterizing his position as an “elitist post-modern ideology.”
“Time and time again, I have encountered men who argue using the exact same points Oliver is making here. Men who “believe in science” keep a straight face and say, “The fact is, “We don't yet have enough data to determine whether men and boys are stronger and faster than women and girls.” The “please be kind” staff have no idea what the problem is. “Why bother, when it only affects a tiny minority of women,” Rowling wrote to X.
“According to the United Nations, female athletes have lost nearly 900 medals in women’s sports against transgender men. Women have been kicked off teams to make way for men. “I was seriously injured playing against a transgender man (see Payon McNab below),” she continued, revealing that nearly 900 biological women were beaten by transgender men and missed out on medals. He cited a recent United Nations report.
McNabb, a former high school volleyball player in North Carolina, suffered a concussion after being kicked in the face by a transgender player.
“To prove their progressive credentials and (by coincidence, I believe) to compensate for the influence of cultural elites in the media, academia, and publishing.
