Rumors Surrounding Jamie King’s Engagement

It appears that Jamie King’s engagement may be coming to an end.

The actress, known for her role in “Sin City,” finalized her divorce from director Kyle Newman in 2023 after being married for 17 years. In July 2025, she became engaged to investment banker Austin Sosa, whom she met through friends back in December 2024.

However, several sources close to the situation have reported that King was recently seen in Los Angeles with hotelier Vikram Chatwal.

King and Chatwal, who is 54, were reportedly spotted getting close at the Chateau Marmont last week and then again at Chatwal’s Bombay Palace restaurant a few days after.

Chatwal, son of the famed hotelier Sant Singh Chatwal, has kept a relatively low profile recently.

Vikram is known for opening the Chatwal Hotel in Times Square and has been linked to several attractive figures, including models Esther Cañadas and Padma Lakshmi.

His extravagant 2006 wedding to Indian socialite Priya Sachdev was reported to cost about $20 million, making it one of the priciest weddings ever recorded, though they divorced in 2011.

Once a close friend of Lindsay Lohan, Vikram faced some setbacks following an incident involving Lohan’s dog in Soho in 2016. Now, it seems he might be making a comeback in the dating scene.

When King announced her engagement to Sosa last summer, her representative expressed excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to share this moment with Austin and her children, who have such a loving bond with her family.”

King has two sons, James, who is 12, and Leo, 10, both of whom are godsons to Taylor Swift.

She also shared with Us Weekly that when she first met Sosa, her immediate thought was, “You’re going to be my boyfriend.” Sosa was reportedly caught off guard, responding with, “Wait a minute, what?” which might have surprised him a bit.

Requests for comments from representatives for Sosa and King have gone unanswered.
