James Carville says Harris should tell far-left to ‘go f— themselves’

Democratic political strategist James Carville said Vice President Harris should exclude far-left progressives if she wants to win the White House.

“I wish she’d tell everybody to fuck off,” Carville, 79, said on his show. “Political War Room” This week’s podcast.

“Please understand this, and I say it as clearly as I can: Anyone who has ever listened to anything said by the progressive left has lived with the deepest regret of it. On literally every issue, they are completely wrong,” Carville added.

Carville said problems that have arisen under President Biden’s administration, such as the ongoing crisis at the U.S. border, were caused by listening to progressive voices.

“So why does the border matter? It’s because Biden listened to these people early on in his term. They weren’t just wrong, they were catastrophically wrong. I want you to understand that,” he argued. “These people weren’t just wrong, they are literally a walking disaster. The sooner people realize that, the better off they’ll be. And they don’t have much power.”

A former aide to former President Clinton, Carville has long been known as an outspoken moderate who is unafraid to upset the party’s far-left wing.

In March, Carville also complained that there are “too many preachy women” in the Democratic Party.

“Don’t drink beer. Don’t watch football. Don’t eat burgers. It’s not good for you. Everything you’re doing is destroying the planet. Eat legumes,” he gushed to columnist Maureen Dowd.

The comments drew condemnation from progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who slammed Carville, saying he should “start a podcast.”

Appearing on “Firing Line” with Margaret Hoover last month, Carville said Harris was competitive but warned she would face an uphill battle and would be “defeated” by Republican attack ads.

“I think she has a track record, so I have to offer something, but I think a lot of it is going to depend on her ability to define herself, and really, she’s not that well known, so I think she has to introduce herself,” Carville said.

“The Republicans are going to try to present her on their own terms. I don’t blame them. I would do the same. And she’s going to have to get better fast,” he added.
