Pop star Janet Jackson was slammed by left-wing critics last week for saying Kamala Harris isn't black. She later reportedly apologized, saying she was “misinformed.” Now Jackson claims the apology was made without her authorization.

Kamala Harris was born in Oakland, California, to her mother, Shyamala Gopalan, a cancer researcher from India, and her father, Donald Harris, an economist from Jamaica who moved to the US to pursue his PhD at the University of California, Berkeley, where he met Kamala's mother.
But when Jackson's words were printed, Mo El-Masri Apologized El Masri condemned Jackson's comments in a statement on Sunday, BuzzFeed reported. El Masri told BuzzFeed he is Jackson's manager.

However, Jackson's team has now denied Mo El Masri's comments.
