Jasmine Crockett Concealed Stock Investments in Pharmaceutical, Fossil Fuel, and Marijuana Firms

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), known for her left-leaning views, has reportedly maintained a hidden stock portfolio and has shown interest in the marijuana industry.

In an article from the Washington Free Beacon, Andrew Carr shed light on Crockett’s questionable financial activities.

The article indicated that Crockett owned stock in a minimum of 25 companies, which she failed to disclose during her initial congressional run in 2022. Interestingly, she had previously acknowledged her stock investments while serving in the Texas State Legislature but did not mention them upon her arrival in Washington.

The Beacon obtained this information via a public records request and added:

Furthermore, Crockett, who identifies as a civil rights attorney, is involved in the marijuana industry. She has attempted to establish a marijuana dispensary in Ohio and previously represented an individual charged with murder related to a botched marijuana deal. She has also advocated for marijuana decriminalization in both the Texas Legislature and Congress.

As reported by Breitbart News, Crockett claimed in September that just because someone commits a crime doesn’t label them as a criminal, attributing it to their “mindset.”

Additionally, the Beacon noted that Crockett has stated she is self-sufficient and has never been married.

She has also invested in “companies that profited from her legislative actions and proposals in Congress, as well as businesses that are at odds with her public persona as a green energy advocate,” the article mentioned.

Citing public records, the Beacon revealed that Crockett held stakes in 25 private companies, with notable investments in Amazon, AstraZeneca, General Motors, ExxonMobil, Aurora Cannabis, and Ford.

On the topic of marijuana, Crockett mentioned in a 2021 social media post that cannabis reform should be a “joint effort.”

“Legislation from both sides has emerged to lessen penalties for possession and broaden Texas’ compassionate use program. However, let’s not lose sight of our ultimate aim: full recreational and medical marijuana,” she wrote.

It’s worth mentioning that Crockett has consistently criticized former President Donald Trump, who has labeled her and other progressive Democrats as “political hacks” needing cognitive assessments, according to Breitbart News.
