Jason and Kylie Kelse were present at a memorial service in Pennsylvania on Thursday for Maureen Maguire, who was Ed’s girlfriend.
Ed announced his passing on August 2 through a Facebook post that included a link to his obituary.
Images show Jason and his wife, Kylie, outside St. John Vianney’s Church in Gladwin, Pennsylvania. Both wore formal attire, with Jason in a button-down shirt, tie, and black slacks, while Kylie wore a black dress.
Another image displayed Ed in a full suit, assisting in carrying Maureen’s casket during the service.
Jason and Kylie arrived just five minutes prior to the ceremony’s start, according to reports.
“Maureen found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved the beach—especially the shore—and had a great affection for her dogs,” her obituary noted. “In recent years, she cherished time spent with family in Cape May, enjoying calm days at sea. She also developed an unexpected love for football, sharing many laughs and experiences with Ed Kelce and her beloved dog, Butch.”
The service included memories of Maguire attending football games with Ed and her amusing interactions with Taylor Swift, who is Travis Kelce’s girlfriend.
Ed recounted to the Los Angeles Times a moment when he posed for a photo with Swift and jokingly introduced Maguire as “my boyfriend.”
In an interview with fans, Ed humorously recalled early interactions with Swift, admitting he couldn’t remember her name at first.
“I look at her… and I had my girlfriend with me, and I mentioned Maureen, ‘Oh, my god, I know this child, but I don’t know what her name is,'” he reflected.
Notably, Travis Kels was absent from the service, as he was at the Chiefs training camp in Kansas City.
